Cancellation, Refund and Payment Policy


CANCELLATION POLICY:
Chamblee Parks and Recreation Department staff reserves the right to modify refund policies for family emergency situations that cause a cancellation after the deadlines or for children dismissed from programs due to behavior or other extenuating circumstances. For any cancelled programs all money will be refunded.

REFUND POLICY:

Refund Policy for CPRD Youth Athletic Leagues:
Any participant may receive a refund of their league registration fee, minus a $5 service charge, if the refund is requested at least two weeks prior to the scheduled league practice start date. No refunds will be issued after this time.

Refund Policy for CPRD Adult Athletic Leagues:
No refunds will be issued to teams requesting refunds, except under special circumstances as approved by the Department Director or his/her designee.

Refund Policy for Rec. Activities:
Any participant may receive a refund of their registration fee, minus a $5 service charge, if the refund is requested at least TWO WEEKS (10 business days) prior to the first day of a scheduled activity. The Parks and Recreation staff reserves the right to modify refund policies for family emergency situations that cause a cancellation after the deadlines above or other extenuating circumstances.

Refund Policy for Non-Resident Fees:
Residents who are accidentally charged a non-resident fee may receive a refund of the non-resident fee upon request by emailing chambleeparks@gmail.com.  No other non-resident fee refunds will be issued.

  • Any check payments should be made payable to Chamblee Parks and Recreation Department (C.P.R.D.). Any returned checks will incur a charge of $30.
