Join us for a reading of Gina Gallois's Mama Opossum's Misadventures, which is an amazing story about helping Mama Opossum find all 10 of her lost babies in the forest and then meeting a whole village of nocturnal animals along the way!
About Gina Gallois: She has been a Chamblee resident for nine years and just published her first two books about her favorite animals, opossums, this year. She is looking forward to sharing Mama Opossum's Misadventures with the Chamblee community! Gina also uses stuffed animals to help maximize fun, comprehension and engagement during the book reading.
After the reading, she will answer all the kids' questions about opossums - one of nature's most fascinating creatures, as well as about writing and publishing a book. Copies of Mama Opossum's Misadventures will also be available for purchase and signing by Gina.
Pre-registration is highly encouraged to ensure proper social distancing can be achieved. Please register each person that wants to attend with only a maximum of 4 people per household attending the event. Masks are also requested to be worn while in the community building.
